The three seniors of the Orange women’s tennis team had plenty of reason to celebrate on Thursday night. It was Senior Night, where Ellie Wilson, Lucy Frank and Ebelyn Pacheco were honored before the match against Southeast Alamance. On Thursday night, Wilson in singles and in doubles action as the Lady Panthers defeated the Stallions 9-0. Wilson has been a member of the varsity program for four years. Frank had won 15 matches this season, her first year as a full-time varsity member. Frank has become one of the most reliable doubles players on Orange’s roster, winning six matches this season. Pacheco is in her third season with the team. This season, she played in her first Big 7 Conference match, a victory over South Granville. Pacheco defeated Adalyn Knox 8-6 on August 24 in Hillsborough. The Lady Panthers are 13-3 overall. On Monday, they will return to conference action to face Seaforth in Hillsborough.
