The Eno River Academy men’s soccer team has nearly equaled its win total from all of last year before Labor Day.
On Monday night, Perry Creedle notched a hat trick as the Bobcats defeated Clover Garden School 6-2 at Soccer.com Complex in Efland. It was the Bobcats first win over the Grizzlies since August 12, 2024, when Eno River won 3-1 in Efland.
After going 3-15 last year, Eno River is now 2-1. Ivan Menolascino, Rocco Massimino and Lucas Adams-Lynott also scored one goal each for the Bobcats. Adams-Lynott has three goals after scoring two in a 9-0 win over Chatham Charter last week.
Leo Mosqueda has a strong defensive game for the Bobcats.
Creedle now leads the team with five goals. He had a brace against the Knights last week.
On Thursday, Eno River will make its first road trip to face Roxboro Community School in Person County. It will be the Bobcats Triangle North Conference opener. On Friday, the Bobcats will face Woods Charter in Chapel Hill.
