The second-highest scoring player in Orange lacrosse history and the top goal-scorer for Cedar Ridge this season will be among the names competing in the 10th annual Bull City All-Star Game this Wednesday.
Orange’s Brett Clark and Jay Parker were selected by the committee for the Men’s All-Star Game. Also on the team is Cedar Ridge’s Joshua Hart. The doubleheader will be start this Wednesday at 3Pm with the women’s game at Koskinen Stadium at Duke University, the home of the Blue Devils men’s lacrosse team that reached Championship Weekend last week.
The men’s game will follow at 6:15.
The Bull City All-Star Game attracts the top lacrosse players from across North Carolina. It is a benefit for the Tony Cullen Foundation, named in honor of former Duke men’s lacrosse player and head coach Tony Cullen, who also served as an official. Cullen was one of the top scorers in Duke lacrosse history. He passed away from cancer in 2022 at his home in Chapel Hill at the age of 45.
Last year, the Bull City All-Star Game raised $3,000 for the Duke Cancer Institute. Information about the Cullen Classic for Cancer is available.
Clark ended his high school career with 312 points last month. This season, he was Orange’s leading scorer with 62 goals and 95 points as the Panthers won its sixth consecutive conference championship. Clark scored 71 goals in his sophomore season in 2024, when Orange won the 3A/2A/1A Eastern Regional championship for the first time in program history.
Parker finished second for Orange with 32 goals and 56 points in 2026.
Hart led Cedar Ridge with 53 goals and 64 points this season. He scored nine goals in his final regular season game, a win over Southeast Alamance which helped the Red Wolves reach the state playoffs.
The men’s game will also featured Reed Stack, the leading scorer for the 6A-1A Eastern Regional champions Middle Creek Mustangs. Stack scored 88 goals and 114 points for Middle Creek, which fell to Charlotte Catholic 9-8 in overtime at the 6A-1A State Championship game on Friday. Middle Creek goalkeeper Tyler Comstock is also featured on the White team.
Henry Urban, a midfielder for the 8A State Champions Ardrey Kell based out of Charlotte, will also suit up for the White team. Urban paced the Knights with 73 goals, including two in Ardrey Kell’s 12-11 win over Wilmington Hoggard in the 8A State Championship game at Moretz Stadium in Hickory on Friday.
Hoggard midfielder Jackson Burgee and defenseman Finn Connolly will also be featured in the All-Star Game.
Also on the White Team will be midfielder Kayden Robles of Lake Norman, who reached the 7A State Championship game against Cardinal Gibbons. Robles had two goals for the Wildcats against the Crusaders.
First Flight goalkeeper Nolan Rollins, who helped the Nighthawks reach the 3A/2A/1A Eastern Regional championship game in 2025, will also be on the White squad.
The women’s game will feature Chapel Hill’s Scarlett Gilner, the Most Valuable Player of the 7A State Championship Game. Chapel Hill may have pulled off the biggest upset of the spring sports season on Saturday when they defeated Cardinal Gibbons 12-8 to claim the 7A Women’s Lacrosse State title in Hickory.
Gilner scored seven goals and was named the game’s Most Valuable Player. It was the first women’s lacrosse state championship in Chapel Hill history.
Chapel Hill’s Lucy Boyd, who scored two goals against the Crusaders, will also play for for the women’s White squad.
The Crusaders had won four consecutive state championships and nine of the last ten.
Cardinal Gibbons Bailey Stump and goalkeeper Adeline Brown will also play in the women’s All-Star game.
On the Women’s Blue Team will be Apex’s Lizzie Mack, who helped the Cougars reach the 8A State Championship game against Pinecrest.
