Melissa Benkowitz: For the first time since 2000, Franklin & Marshall won a match in the NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament. The Diplomats defeated (RV) Williams in four sets (25-19, 25-20, 11-25, 25-20) at Rockwell Cage in Cambridge, MA. Benkowitz finished with a team-high three aces, ten kills and eight digs. In the second round, #9 MIT defeated Franklin & Marshall 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-19) Benkowitz tied for the team lead with nine kills. She also had two aces and four digs.
Abbi Silinski: Also playing for Franklin & Marshall, Silinski finished with three digs in the win over Williams. Silinski had five digs and three aces in the loss to MIT. The Diplomats finish the year 23-7. For the first time since 2022, they reached the Centennial Conference Championship match.
Julie Altieri: Salisbury reached the second round of the NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament. In the opening round, the Sea Gulls defeated Colorado College in a dramatic five-set match on scores of 25-22, 16-25, 19-25, 25-19, 15-9 at Rockwell Cage in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Altieri finished with her 46th double-double of the season, coming away with 46 assists and 16 digs. It was her 49th career double-double. Altieri finished the match with 1,050 assists, surpassing her career-high and putting her in ninth-place on the single-season school history books. In the second round, #15 Trinity College (Texas) swept Salisbury (25-14, 25-15, 25-17). Salisbury ended the year with 29 wins, their most in a season since 2013. They fell just short of its first 30-win season since 2013. The Sea Gulls advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the third time in four years.
Lottie Scully: The first season at the University of Houston ended for Scully on Saturday. Scully was one of seven seniors honored as TCU defeated the Cougars 3-1 on scores of 17-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-18 at the Fertitta Center. Scully finished with 38 assists and 15 digs in her final match of the season. Earlier this year, Scully surpassed 3,000 career assists after playing her first three years at the University of Binghamton. This season, Scully had a season-high 42 assists against North Alabama. She averaged 7.42 assists per match finishing with 631 assists overall. The Cougars end the year 9-20 overall, 2-16 in the Big 12 Conference.
Cameron Lloyd: The Bucknell Bison had a disappointing end to its season, falling to Navy in the opening round of the Patriot League Tournament at Davis Gymnasium in Lewisburg, PA. The Midshipmen defeated the Bison for the third time this year on scores of 25-21, 22-25, 25-20, 22-25, 8-15. Lloyd finished with 17 digs, second only to Bri Frazilus and Bella Rodriguez for team-high honors with 18. Bucknell ends the year 12-14. Moving to libero this season, Lloyd led the team with 4.16 digs per set, registering 424 overall. Lloyd, a member of Cedar Ridge’s 2021 3A State Championship team, will be a senior with the Bison next year.
Greylinn Serge: UNC Greensboro reached the semifinals of the Southern Conference Tournament at Harrah’s Cherokee Center in Asheville. In the opening round, the Spartans defeated fourth-seeded Chattanooga 3-1 on scores of 25-21, 25-21, 26-28, 25-22. Serge finished with eleven digs and one ace. In the semifinals, top-seeded East Tennessee State eliminated UNCG 3-1 on scores of 25-18, 18-25, 27-25, 25-23. Serge registered ten digs. The Spartans end the year 17-12. In her sophomore season, Serge was fourth on the team with 149 digs, averaging 1.88 digs per set.
Addie Reid: North Carolina Central ended the season in a heartbreaking loss to Delaware State in the opening round of the MEAC Tournament 3-2 on scores of 26-28, 23-25, 25-22, 25-15, 16-14 at the Physical Education Complex in Baltimore. The Eagles finish the year 10-18. Reid, a sophomore, played in seven matches in 2025. In 13 sets, she finished with eleven kills and two digs.
Anaya Carter: The Division II UNC Pembroke Braves fell to Emmanuel in the quarterfinals of the Conference Carolinas Tournament at Student Complex Center in Bristol, TN on November 21. The Lions won on scores of 25-13, 23-25, 28-30, 25-22, 16-14. Carter played one set. UNC Pembroke ends the season 17-15. This season, Carter played 98 sets, finishing with 166 digs. She averaged 1.66 digs per set. She also had 37 assists and 17 aces. Carter will be a senior next season.
