Following a run to the 5A State Quarterfinals, three Orange players have been named to the All-Region 3 team by the North Carolina Volleyball Coaches Association.
Senior setter Katie Silcott, senior outside hitter Aubrey Jordan and junior outside hitter/setter Sawyer White were all honored.
It’s the second year in a row that Silcott has been named All-Region by the NCVCA. In 2024, Silcott was selected to the first-team All-State squad in the 3A Classification, along with her classmate Ava Wilkerson.
Region 3 covers Orange, Durham, Wake, Nash, Vance, Granville, Franklin, Halifax, Person, Caswell and Warren Counties. Chatham County, where Seaforth is located, is in Region 5.
White, Jordan and Silcott are automatically nominees for the 5A All-State team.

Silcott has committed to Division II Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, FL. She will leave Orange at the end of December to enroll in early 2026.

White was one of seven juniors to make the All-Region squad. She was called up to the varsity squad towards the endow her freshman season as made a starter during Orange’s run to the Central Conference Tournament final. White helped Orange win the 2023 Eastern Regional championship with a five-set win over Carrboro and has been a starter ever since, including in the 2023 3A State Championship match against Kings Mountain.
This season, White averaged a career-best 2.1 kills per set. She amassed a hitting percentage of .258, the best on the team.
