Poteat stole his eleventh base of the season and scored in the first inning. In the fifth with the game tied 2-2, he hit a two-out triple down the left field line, leading to three runs crossing the plate. In the sixth, he threw out the potential game-tying run at the plate from centerfield unassisted. He led off the eighth with a walk, improving his on-base percentage to .440.
