Dominic Sena waited four years to help Cedar Ridge baseball return to the top of its conference. All of the work he had put in during four years with the Red Wolves was worth it in the end as Cedar Ridge won the Big 7 Conference championship. The Red Wolves went undefeated in conference play for the first time in school history. Sena proved vital in helping Cedar Ridge earned the #2 overall seed for the 5A State Playoffs. Against East Wake Academy on March 25, Sena had a walkoff double as the Red Wolves defeated the Eagles 5-4. Cedar Ridge entered the seventh inning trailing 4-1 before rallying to win in Hillsborough. In his Senior Day game against Durham School of the Arts, Sena scored a run and reached base three times in a 10-0 win in five innings. Sena was a utility player for head coach Bryson Massey. He played first base and various outfield positions. Sena also had a two-run single in a 12-0 win over Roxboro Community School on April 6 in Hillsborough. In May, Sena signed a letter of intent to play at William Peace University. He will join his longtime teammates, Ian and Grant McGuffey, in Raleigh. Former Cedar Ridge pitcher Phillip Berger, who won 20 games in his Cedar Ridge career, also played at William Peace.
