On December 3, O’Melia pinned Seaforth’s Mattox Lloyd. During the Patriot Duals at Southern Alamance High, O’Melia won four out of five individual matches. Several of O’Melia’s younger brothers have wrestled for Cedar Ridge. O’Melia is also the goalkeeper for the Cedar Ridge lacrosse team. Last season, he won ten games with a .489 save percentage. In the 3A/2A/1A State Playoffs, O’Melia made six saves as the Red Wolves defeated Voyager Academy 13-3 in Durham.
