Orange Panther of the Week: Aubrey Jordan

This week’s Orange Panther of the Week is senior volleyball outside hitter Aubrey Jordan. Last week in the Big 7 Conference Tournament, Jordan surpassed 1,000 career kills in the Lady Panthers’ victory over South Granville. In her career, Jordan has been one of the seniors that has transformed Orange into a championship program. Over the past four years, Orange has won two Central Conference regular season titles, the 2024 Central Conference Tournament championship and the 2023 3A Eastern Regional championship. This year, Jordan leads Orange with 232 kills. She had a season-high 21 kills on her senior night in a sweep of J.F. Webb. On September 2, Jordan finished with 16 kills in a 3-1 win over Carrboro. Jordan’s favorite memory at Orange came during her sophomore season when the Lady Panthers defeated Carrboro to win the 3A Eastern Regional championship in Hillsborough in 2023. Against the Jaguars, Jordan finished with 15 kills and a season-high eight digs. In the 3A State Championship match against Kings Mountain, Jordan led Orange with 20 kills inside Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh. Jordan is also a valuable defensive component for Orange. She’s second on the team with 185 digs. After her career at Orange ends, Jordan will play for Gardner-Webb in the Division I Big South Conference. Jordan will be remembered as a vital part of one of the richest times in Orange volleyball history.
