The Cedar Ridge men’s basketball team suffered a 65-50 loss to Warren County on Wednesday night at Cedar Ridge Gymnasium. Derrick Smith led the Red Wolves with eleven points. Cedar Ridge is 0-3. The Durham School of the Arts defeated the Red Wolves 52-42 on Tuesday night at Sykes Gymnasium in Durham. Again, Smith led the Red Wolves with eleven points. Cedar Ridge doesn’t have a senior on its roster. Last week in its season-opener against Person, they fielded a team that had only four players with varsity experience. Smith and the rest of the Red Wolves will go for its first win on Friday night when they travel to Siler City to face the Jordan-Matthews Jets.
