This week’s Orange Panther of the Week is junior volleyball libero Brooke Fryar. Last Thursday in a 3-0 win over Southern Durham, Fryar had seven digs and one assist as the Panthers defeated the Spartans 25-10, 25-8 and 25-4 to improve to 7-4, 3-3 in the Big 8 Conference. This season, Fryar has amassed 82 digs and 62 services assists. In practice, Fryar has mastered the practice game of “Elimination,” where her team hasn’t lost all season. She plays on the Triangle Volleyball Club during the spring and summer.
