This winter’s first Cedar Ridge Red Wolf of the Week is women’s basketball center Yolanda Simpson. Last week, Simpson led the Red Wolves to a victory over Northwood. On Tuesday night, Simpson paced the Red Wolves with 17 points as Cedar Ridge defeated Orange 46-39, its first victory over the Panthers in nearly two years. When Yolanda isn’t playing basketball, she’s participating in performances at Cedar Ridge High, including last in the production of “Madrigal.” Joining Yolanda in this interview is point guard Madison Wardlow.
