In the opening rounds of the 3A Dual Team Wrestling Playoffs on Tuesday night at Jim King Gymnasium, Gavin Wiggins scored a major decision over Corinth Holders’ Brian Hines 14-4, then pinned Wilson Fike’s Taylor Gay in 1:05. The Panthers will face Swansboro on Thursday in the regional semifinals. If victorious, they will compete for the Eastern Regional Championship against Gray’s Creek or West Brunswick.
